Taro Gomi's 40-year classic, the child's first visual game book
Ranked on the Japanese MOE magazine's "Million Picture Books" list, with over 3 million copies sold in Japan
★The book comes with "little goldfish stickers" on the waistband. You can stick them in various corners of your home and play hide-and-seek with your children to find out where the little goldfish is hiding.
The naughty little goldfish ran away. Where did it go?
Is it the red dots on the curtains, the red flowers in the pot, or the candies in the candy jar? Author Gomi Taro uses his imaginative imagination and clever design to have the little goldfish "hide" in various common life scenes, inviting children to play hide-and-seek together. Carefully search for the little goldfish's hiding place among similar colors and shapes, and fully enjoy the joy of "finding" during the reading process.
Rooms, piles of toys, mirrors... As the scenes grow increasingly complex, the objects share more and more similarities, creating a challenging environment and strengthening children's visual recognition skills. At the end of the story, the little goldfish, overjoyed to have found its companion, finally stops running away. The simple yet profound narrative elevates this book beyond a simple "find it" game. It offers a richer layer, stimulating the reader's imagination.
"The Little Goldfish Ran Away" has sold over 3 million copies in Japan and is Taro Gomi's best-selling picture book. It has not only sold overseas copyrights in the United States, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand, Egypt and other places, but has also captured the hearts of readers of all ages in Taiwan. Hundreds of thousands of children have grown up happily with its company!
