After graduating from the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Tsukuba, she worked as a graphic designer for a home goods manufacturer. She later completed a master's degree at the Aichi Prefectural University of Arts. She currently works as a freelance designer and picture book author, creating books themed around "mechanical visual communication design." Her works include "Today's Snack" and "The Incredible Rainbow" (tentative translation).
