Liu Yulong's collection of short stories includes fifty-six short stories and flash fiction, divided into five sections based on theme and genre: science fiction, fantasy, realism, martial arts, and extreme fiction.

Liu Yulong

A native of Senai, Johor, he currently serves as a publishing manager and secretary-general of the Malaysian Chinese Writers Association. He writes poetry, essays, and short stories. His publications include the poetry collections "Old Gear No. 6" and "Poems with a Book," the poetry collections "Nezha" and "Island of Hope," and the collection of literary criticism "Between Authority and Prejudice."

He has won the Rotary International Youth Literature Award (micro-fiction), the Huazong Literary Award (New Poetry Award, Children's Literature (Children's Poetry) Award and Martial Arts Short Story Award), the Nanyang University Micro-Fiction Award, the Jiaying Prose Award, the Yunlifeng Annual Outstanding Writer Literary Award, the Poet Cup Judges Award, the Fang Xiu Literary Award and the Malaysian Chinese Literature Award's Writer's Dream Award.

Since 2016, he has served as the instructor for the new poetry class and micro-fiction class of the "Deepening Literary Creation Course" jointly organized by the Chinese Department of the University of Malaya and the Malaysian Writers Association for eight consecutive years.
