These people, those far away

Drawer collection of essays. Also draws.

When painting, the author is "me standing still in a certain place." When writing, the author is "me heading somewhere."

Drawer: "Because I dared neither stay still in stillness nor walk somewhere without worries, I drew and wrote, switching between the two. In the end, I neither stayed still nor reached the distant place beyond the boundary that I imagined."

The book is divided into two volumes. Volume 1, "These People," writes about/draws about people who have appeared in real life, and Volume 2, "The City of Flaws," is inhabited by people the author wrote about on his blog when he was young.

Now that I think about it, these people are already far away.

Born in 1978. Once a severe sufferer of the "blogging compulsion syndrome."

At her peak, she owned seven blogs, but recovered after the Facebook wave swept the world. "The Corpse in the Drawer," "Combing Sounds," and "Soy Sauce Notes" were all her former homes.

Drawing charts, creating animations, and designing web products were all part of my daily routine. Outside of work, I occasionally drew and wrote for newspapers and books.

His prose works are included in "Drifting with the Island: Selected Contemporary Malaysian Chinese Prose 2000-2012".
