Mei Deshun

Dr. Paul Boey is a postdoctoral fellow in art at Southeast University in China. His research focuses on Chinese and international art history and art education, and the development of art and culture along the One Belt, One Road initiative between China and Southeast Asia. He currently serves as a master's and doctoral supervisor at New Era University College in Malaysia and a member of the World Chinese Art Education Association. In 2018, he became director and master's supervisor of the Center for Oriental Culture and Art at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. In 2019, he became a visiting professor at Chongqing Technology and Business University in China.

In terms of academic research results, in 2014, he participated in the editing of "History of Western Art Education"; in 2015, he compiled and published "Traces in the Sea of ​​Art: A Memorial Collection for the Centenary of Li Haiping"; in 2016, he published "History of Art Education in Malaysian Chinese Schools: The Local Development of Art Curriculum from the Essence of Chinese Education" and "History of Malaysian Art" in Volumes 1 and 2; in 2017, he compiled "A Century of Zhong Ling's Art Footprints of Century Love"; in 2022, he published "A Century of Ink Traces: A Study of the Development of Malaysian Ink Painting Art and Its Figures" and other works.
