This is a collection of poems about Singaporeans, and also the first personal poetry collection of the famous Singaporean poet Shen Bihao. It contains 32 new poems in total, which are worthy of praise, singing and passing on.

Shen Bihao

Singaporean.

Born in 1951, he graduated with honors from the Department of Economics at Nanyang Business School in 1976. After graduation, he worked in the financial and banking sectors for four decades before moving into business, where he worked in trading, information technology, and aluminum engineering.

In the late 1960s, he began writing modern literature. His modern poems, essays, and novels were published in the literary supplements of the then Nanyang Siang Pau in Singapore and later Lianhe Zaobao, as well as overseas newspapers and periodicals such as Malaysia's Student Weekly and Banana Wind, and Hong Kong's Contemporary Literature.

In 1972, he co-published the collection of modern poetry, "New Poems of 15 Singaporean Poets," with several young modern poets active in the poetry scene at the time. "Metropolitan Chronicles" was his first solo poetry collection.
