Shi Jinchao's first poetry collection, "Walking Posture," records the young poet's observations over the years, "from distant wars and unrest to the light and echoes of the city, to the subtle and complex private emotions."

"Reading Jinchao's poetry reveals a desire to become transparent, a vessel or channel through which the emotions of society and the times flow. The traces left behind (perhaps pain) are picked up and transformed into poetry. Times are rough, and poetry also rubs against them to create fire, the art of objectification repeatedly contesting. If you're not satisfied with smoldering, light more " ", you can steal the light of a lamprey or gaze at the seemingly motionless but in fact unpredictable fish-scale clouds." — Guan Tianlin (poet and editor-in-chief of "Zihua")

"Jinchao's poetry is a poem of reflection, a poem of communication. It has a clear logic and concerns, particularly the great question of justice in the world. His language is mature and structured, and he consciously draws nourishment from his peers, expanding into different fields. Jinchao's strides on the poetry stage are confident and steady, a delight to watch. I hope he continues to deepen his logic into rationality and elevate it to intellectual interest. I also hope that he will occasionally turn more deeply to his inner self, to where no one is, and try to say what cannot be said or what he does not know how to say." - Fan Shanbiao (Professor of Chinese Department, The Chinese University of Hong Kong)
