You are kerosene, you are firewood, you are the fire;
You are the light and heat that burns to keep warm in the cold night.
Hot near, cold far away, back and forth,
Therefore, the wind finally became violent and turbulent.
The eyeshadow without kiss is too melancholic Betty,
After the kiss, he was sentimental like an animal;
Lifting the deep molasses-stained lip lines,
That shy smile is whipped by love,
Gradually, the pain of love began to rise from the clouds.
Oh, world,
Let me see my own outline by touching the knot of poetry,
Closer to you;
Let you be gentle and rough,
Bind me in chains until I become a mythical constellation.
Following "Can You Develop a Bad Habit?", Lin Jiaying published her second poetry collection, "Lace Handcuffs," in which eighty-six poems softly depict the multifaceted aspects of love. Intentional and unintentional ambiguity, invisible and even tangible bonds, the desire for one another, the monopoly, the attachment, the lingering affection, the subtle euphemisms... like a budding secret, waiting for someone to pass by and notice.
This collection of poems is divided into four volumes.
Part 1: The Wei Cup's Dangerous Journey
Traveling across a single-person rattan suspension bridge, the stream surging beneath me, the valley steep and rocky, I suddenly felt lost as I swayed. This violent swaying made me wonder if it was the world, not me, that was intoxicated. I poured the wine from my cup toward the blazing southern sun, and the steep night sky instantly soared to the starry sky. The journey continued, leaving only me in suspense, tying the light of our encounter with poetry. This first collection of poems records those painful moments of love.
Volume 2: "Rain, a Night of Brocade Luster"
Carving the shape of desire with my fingers, mapping the direction of fate with my palms, I reach out to touch the night, and then understand its intricate texture; yet the intersecting and blooming radiance still sways before my eyes, my footsteps have diverged in the falling rain. The second collection of poems caresses the possible eternity and the possibility of eternity, and the inaccessibility of ideals.
Volume 3: "Anima Raising Goldfish and Tigers"
Everyone has tattoos. Some tattoo their bodies, some their hearts, some like goldfish swimming in a tank. I remember that tiger, so vivid, biting its body and soul from its back, both restrained and unrestrained. The third series is a series of development games that guide non-player characters to escape the repetitive order. Souls who meet by chance feed each other with poetry, attempting to grow a thorn-capped gestalt.
Volume 4: "The Priestess Wanders in the Rough Universe"
Oh, world, please let me see my own outline through the touch of the knot, and draw closer to you. Let you be gentle or rough, shackle me, or indulge me in exploring space and the trenches until I become a constellation myth. In this final volume, I wait for you to discover that leaving is for the bumps and scratches that uncover ignorance, to forge and perceive myself.
