A window lattice connects the inside and outside of a space, but does not penetrate it. It only allows those within the window to see, observe, and gaze into the unreachable distance. This aptly describes the mood of Hong Kong people in recent years facing farewell and longing, longing and loss, desire and reluctance to act. The floating scenery in the window pool is like lake water, unrippled by the wind. It seems impossible, but not necessarily impossible. It is more like a kind of self-cultivation and expectation, reminding people to keep their hearts steady in troubled times.
