Deep in the Flowers

Zhuo Zhenhui's Essays. This collection contains twenty-five essays, divided into four volumes. Volume 1: "Zhuo Zhenhui, the Ghost Who Beats the Doll," Volume 2: "Bright Moonlight Before My Bed, I Suspect It Is...", Volume 3: "I Am Like the Stars in the Milky Way," and Volume 4: "Big History, Small History."

Gong Wanhui wrote the preface and recommended:

This series of essays is well-organized. Each chapter contains the author's observations on society, culture, and history, as well as recollections and remembrances of past events, depicting the tediousness of daily life. Where are the flowers truly at their core? Flowers bloom in the present moment and in the past; in the room where Zhuo Zhenhui slept and drowned himself, in the new village after nightfall, and in every 'invisible' city described by Zhuo Zhenhui.

Zhuo Zhenhui

Born in 1993. A native of Simpang Pulai, Ipoh. Graduated from the Department of Biotechnology at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kampar. Currently a teacher at an independent Chinese secondary school. Having no literary awards to her name, she dedicated herself even more to writing.

His novels and essays have appeared in publications such as Sin Chew Daily, Hsing Yun, and Bungeishunju, as well as Banana Wind. In 2018, he published the novella "Koi in Heaven," and in 2023, the short story collection "Toothpick in the Spider's Web."
